Moazam was volunteering at a hospital when he noticed that almost all major organs are continuously being monitored, except for the skin - the largest organ of the body and the first line of defence. Carestaff were still relying on paper based outdated methods to monitor the skin, leading to delayed interventions, hospital acquired conditions and a poor quality of care. With his background in medical sciences he Co Founded Curiato to solve this problem. Moazam holds a degree in Medical Sciences and a Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology from the University of Waterloo. Prior to Curiato, Moazam co-developed a low infrared vein visualization device, which was sold to a Kitchener-based clinic and also co-developed clinical workflow software for various clinics.
