Andrew Cameron

Andrew is a first-year graduate student at the University of Waterloo working in the Quantum Optics and Quantum Information group. During his undergraduate career, he has worked for Jeff Dahn in a contract with Tesla studying battery chemistries, worked as a machine learning analyst for both academic and industrial contracts, and completed a physics degree at the University of Prince Edward Island. Coming from the Maritimes and a small community in Canada, Andrew set out for Waterloo to embrace Canada’s leading effort in quantum computing.  He believes in doing what you love and learning about what interests you first, and hunting for success second.
