Michael Konieczny

Michael is currently completing his degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan. His passion for entrepreneurship and innovation began at the age of 13 when he founded his first company, SaskGold. Since then, Michael continues to challenge himself, building onto his diverse background with accomplishments in the Western Engineering Competition, Canadian Engineering Competition, i3 Idea Challenge, Tech Venture Challenge, and James Dyson Award. With a background in social entrepreneurship, he is driven to make a positive difference in the world. Outside of his entrepreneurial ventures, Michael finds it important to live a balanced lifestyle. His strong involvement with volunteer, extracurricular, and academic initiatives have been recognized by the CTV Citizenship Award, Regina Intercollegiate Football League Rams All-Star Award, and Governor General Bronze Medallion. In his free time, Michael enjoys outdoor activities including snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking and skydiving.
